Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
Have you ever been in a situation where things are going so good that you know something bad is just around the corner? God tell us in the scripture that we are not to be afraid but to put our trust in him instead.
Our lives are not going to be trouble free. God even tells us that in this world we will have troubles. That doesn’t mean that we should walk around looking for the trouble to be right around every corner that we turn.
God also tells us that he has plans for us. Plans for us to succeed. In the many years that I have been alive I have sailed through troubled and still waters. There were times that I did not think I would survive the storm that I was in and there were times that I wished I would just die to get it over with. TRUTH!
I have always said that while we are on the mountain top of life that we should keep our arms reached down to lift those up who are in the valley. With one step we could fall from the top to bottom ourselves and we need that outreached hand to help us when we are in the valley.
I am a glass 1/2 full person. I always try to think positively. For me, life is not perfect but God is. If life is going good for you praise God. Rejoice that He is blessing you. I think we should spend more time talking about the good things that God does for us. It makes the hard times easier to handle.
So tomorrow wake up expecting good things. Don’t freak out when things don’t go as you have planned. Trust God no matter how the day turns out and know that everything that happens, good or bad, that God will use it for His purpose and His in the end.
